Biography
UCL School of Management
Jane has considerable business management and industry experience. Prior to joining UCL in 1995 Jane worked for BT plc where she was responsible for managing a range of businesses and new product development projects, including mobile communications products and services and cordless telephones. She also worked on corporate culture change and business process re-engineering programmes. Jane has also previously worked as a consultant and has been an advisor to the Association for Project Management (APM) on the development of its professional qualifications and associated examinations. Jane is a qualified teacher in higher education (PGCE PCET) and was the inaugural winner of Management School’s Teaching Excellence Award, 2010. Jane is a Fellow of Association for Project Management (FAPM), a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Certified Member of the Market Research Society (CMRS) and a Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology (CMALT).Jane is Chair of the School of Management’s Examination irregularities Panel, and is also a member of the Engineering Faculty IEP (Integrated Engineering Programme) Examination irregularities Panel.
Winner of Provost’s Teaching Award 2016 for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning at UCL.
