Research Summary
Jana Uher has developed a novel transdisciplinary paradigm that cuts across several fields of psychology, biology, the social sciences and philosophy of science. It is focused on individuals, their personality, behaviours and social relationships. Her empirical studies involve humans of different ages and sociocultural backgrounds as well as nonhuman primates. She employs a broad portfolio of methods, including computerised observations of behaviour, video-analyses of behaviour, experimental studies, standardised assessment methods, open-ended surveys and in-depth interviews using first-person videos.
