James Moncrieff
Professor of Practice in Strategy at Hult Ashridge Executive Education
Biography
Hult Ashridge Executive Education
James Moncrieff works with senior teams to support strategy formation and execution. His methods aim to transfer strategic capabilities to participants. James also designs and delivers custom programmes, open enrolment programmes and post-graduate modules. His programmes are grounded in reality and often use live case work. This takes him across the globe, often working through simultaneous translation. His clients come from financial services, engineering and energy, manufacturing and services, FMCG and technology sectors.
James' career began in telecommunications, with Telecom Australia. After moving to the UK, he worked in manufacturing and IT before working as a consultant with Ashridge. In addition to qualifications in telecommunications engineering, James has an MBA, which, being application oriented, interested him in how strategy really happens. He is currently particularly interested in how organizations can survive and thrive in a VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity).
James is leading the way in the migration of Ashridge’s online Masters in Management from SharePoint to Canvas.
