Biography
Management School ESSCA
Jacques BOULAY holds a master degree in industrial economics, a master degree in e-management and a PhD in Management Science from the University of Paris-Dauphine. He has a professional experience in the retail and consulting sectors.
Fuelled by a dual expertise in digital marketing and in the management of franchise networks, his research focuses mainly on the performance of marketing channels and the use of digital technologies.
His most recent research output have been published in Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.
Professor of Marketing at ESSCA since 2001, he successively held the positions of Research Dean, Director of Developments, Director of Executive Education, before taking over the development and direction of ESSCA’s new campus in Lyon in September 2016. Since 2020, he is Chief Operations Officer for ESSCA Group.
