Guanghua School of Management

Jack Ting-Ju Chiang is an Associate Professor of Management and the Executive Director of International MBA Program at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington. Jack's work focuses on power and status in the organizations. He is also interested in topics related to dark-side of leadership such as narcissistic leadership and authoritarian leadership. He has work published on Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, Human Relations, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Asia Pacific Journal of Management. He has received the Journal of Management Scholarly Impact Award in 2019.

Jack currently teaches MBA courses and Ph.D. seminars at Guanghua. Before his appointment at Guanghua, he taught undergraduate and MBA courses at the University of Washington. He has won two star teacher awards at the University of Washington. His teaching expertise includes leadership development, leadership in Chinese organizations, cross-cultural management, organizational behavior, and human resource management.

In addition to his research and teaching experiences, Jack worked on talent reviews, leadership development, and recruiting in a worldwide famous high-tech company for several years. He also had various consulting experiences with worldwide famous companies such as WeWork, Applied Materials, Japan Airlines, HNA Capital, Taiwan Motor Company, Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, etc.
