I bring over 35 years of professional experience to my role as a GetFive Certified Executive and Career Coach and to my private practice at Kirnan Coaching Associates, LLC, a firm specializing in Executive, Career, Life, and Spiritual coaching. My overriding goal in every coaching engagement is to help clients successfully navigate the many career and life challenges that are emblematic of the digital age and today’s rapidly changing business environment. An economist and financial analyst by training, I spent the first 20 years of my career in the Financial Services sector as a top-ranked automotive analyst at Kidder Peabody & Company and Salomon Brothers before transitioning to a senior management role at Credit Suisse as the firm’s Director of U.S. Equity Research. I also have extensive experience in higher education, serving in a variety of leadership roles at Rutgers University, The College of New Jersey, and Holy Family University. In each of those roles, I mentored undergraduate and graduate business school students in their specific academic field of study, partnered with faculty in curriculum and new program development, and helped forge strong relationships with local business and community leaders to enhance the overall quality and breadth of business school education. I currently serve as a Trustee for both St. Catharine-St. Margaret Parish and Catholic Charities and I am actively engaged in assisting the Diocese of Trenton in their strategic planning activities. I have received additional professional training in Personal and Executive Coaching at New York University’s Coach Certificate Program and in Executive and Career Coaching at GetFive, a leading provider in Career Management solutions. I also hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University and am certified in Pastoral Care Ministry.
