Ivan Pirzada currently oversees Brown Brothers Harriman's Corporate Advisory, Commercial Lending, and Private Equity investing activities in the Boston office. Having joined BBH in 2000, he has over 22 years of experience as an M&A advisor and private equity investor as a Principal with BBH Capital Partners, BBH's Private Equity Investment Vehicle. Prior to this, Ivan was responsible for BBH's healthcare corporate finance advisory (M&A) practice worldwide, leading a variety of transactions, including equity recapitalizations, corporate sales, divestitures, and acquisitions. His clients included owner-managed private companies and public companies in both the U.S. and Europe where he has overseen over $4B in transactions.

Ivan serves on the Board of Directors of Haven Behavioral Healthcare, an owner/operator of in­ patient psychiatric hospitals; Ethos Veterinary Health, an owner/operator of specialty veterinary hospitals; MPS Microsystems AG, a family-owned Switzerland based developer and manufacturer of micro electrical components for a variety of end markets including high end watches and medical devices, and Skyscape, a developer of mobile and clinical decision support technology. He is also a member of the faculty at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a member of the school's Health Policy and Management Executive Council. Ivan is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
