Research Summary
Broadly speaking my research is concerned with the consequences of (social) identity change. With social identity I mean the part of the self-concept that is defined by group membership. Importantly, group memberships are non-static/transient and groups change and so do we.
Therefore, I’m interested in social identity change, which can be on various levels: 1) “Social” change (political, economical, organizational change) 2) Individual change (life transitions) 3) Contextual change/ variability.
