Central European University
Ibolya Schindele is associated researcher at the Financial System Analysis Directorate of the Central Bank of Hungary. Previously, she taught subjects in the fields of Finance and Economics at the University of Vienna, EDHEC Business School, Toulouse Business School, BI Norwegian Business School, and worked as full-time senior researcher at the Central Bank of Hungary. She also spent a year as visiting professor at the Central European University and earlier as visiting scholar at the Swedish Institute for Financial Research (SIFR). She obtained a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam and an M.A. in Economics from the Central European University. Her academic research interests are in the fields of banking and financial intermediation. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of International Economics, Review of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Economics Letters, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. She is Subject Editor of the Journal of Multinational Financial Management.
