Research interests

I am passionate for research excellence in management. My research interests cover a broad spectrum of topics, from Learning Organisation for Innovation and Sustainability, Systems Thinking for Uncertainty and Complexity, to Multidisciplinary Approaches for Organisational Capacity Building, particularly in Higher Education Sector. I have successfully obtained around £300,000 of research grants and research support; £240,000 of enterprise incomes since 2010. I have been published in various well-refereed journals, such as the Public Administration Reviewer, Group and Organization Management, Management Learning, and International Journal of Human Resource Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, or Journal of Business Ethics. She has been reviewed as a “talented researcher” and “leading scholar” on the top journal of Public Administration Review in 2014. Hong is committed to lifelong learning and research excellence. I have collaborated with colleagues from various universities in the worlds.
