Helen Gubby

Profile

Helen Gubby trained as a lawyer in England, where she was called to the Bar, and has worked as an advocate for a top Dutch law firm. She has a Ph.D. in law. She teaches business law, and patent law and strategy for managers in the RSM and English legal terminology in the Erasmus School of Law. Her area of research is patents and the patent strategies of managers of SMEs. As well as having published a textbook on English legal terminology for both law and non-law university students (the book is now in its fourth edition), and a book on the development of patent law, she has written articles on patenting in SMEs and patent education for managers.
