The areas of expertise of Harvey M. Wagner include operations management, production planning and supply-chain management. 

Dr. Wagner''s book "Principles of Operations Research" was selected among the top 25 books that have shaped how operations research is taught and practiced by OR/MS Today, the magazine for members of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS). It became a classic text which helped tens of thousands of graduate students learn concepts related to operations research. 

His article “Dynamic Version of the Lot Sizing Problem” was selected as one of the most influential papers published in the prestigious Management Science journal and remains one of its most cited papers.

Harvey was inducted as a fellow of many academic societies including the Institute for Management Science and Operations Research (INFORMS), American Statistical Association (ASA), and Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society (MSOM).

He has served as a consultant with McKinsey & Company since 1960. 

He received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MS and BS from Stanford University.### Areas of Expertise
