BIOGRAPHY
Harsh Manglik is a seasoned leader who brings with him to a board over 35 years of rich and diverse experience in global business. His deep roots are in Global Consulting, Aerospace, and Information Technology (IT) industries, with global scope and experience. He has served in senior positions in a number of “Blue Chip” global corporations including Accenture, Pratt & Whitney (United Technologies), IBM and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Manglik served as Chairman & Geography Managing Director, Accenture-India (over 75,000 people) and was a member of Accenture''s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), chaired by Accenture Chairman/CEO that had overall responsibility for Accenture’s direction and corporate governance. Currently, Mr. Manglik serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Cyient Ltd and serves as Distinguished Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor of Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. He earlier served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. In addition, Mr. Manglik was Chairman of NASSCOM’s Executive Council (The “Board” of NASSCOM, comprising CEO’s of Indian and MNC IT companies, and heads of IT “captives” of MNC’s – a growing industry in India with current revenues of approximately US$146 billion). He was an invited member of the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He also served as Director on the Board of the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), a Government of India initiative. Recognitions for Harsh Manglik include the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur Distinguished Alumnus Award. He was featured on the cover of all editions of Forbes magazine for a lead story. He has been listed by the Economic Times (India) in the “Top 10 Most Powerful MNC CEOs.” Mr. Manglik graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Earlier he attended St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, where he studied physics. He holds an MBA (MSIA) from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design Optimization from Case Western Reserve University.
