Biosketch

Prior to joining UMass Lowell, Dr. Zhu was a tenured Associate Professor in the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University. He had been a Research Scientist at MIT and worked in industry as a consultant and a senior software engineer. His research has been funded by NSF, ODU ODU Office of Research, and WHRO. He has published in such journals as Data and Knowledge Engineering, Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He is a member of AIS, XBRL US and the XBRL Best Practice Committee. He has served on program committees of numerous international conferences and is currently an Associate Editor of ACM Journal of Data and Information Quality.
