Biography

Hans Brodersen received his Doctoral degree in German from Université de Paris 8.

His research interests cover pedagogical questions of language learning, German cinema and German and European economic development. His research has been published in journals such as Allemagne d''aujourd''hui, Cems Business review, La revue internationale et stratégique, Les cahiers du Cerfa (IFRI, Paris), Documents. He is member of the editing committee of Allemagne d''aujourd''hui.

He teaches mainly in the Grande Ecole programs. From 1985 to 1995 he organized a German business forum on the HEC campus with guest like Helmut Schmidt, Helmut Kohl, Karl Lamers, Oskar Lafontaine. From 2005 to 2008, he organized the HEC Language Awards. Prior to joining HEC, he worked as a banker and as a consultant.
