Biography

UCL School of Management

I am a 5th-year PhD candidate and am currently in the job market. I have broad research interests in consumer behavior (e.g., word-of-mouth, strategic waiting, showrooming, and readmission) in operations management (e.g., service operations, revenue management, retail operations, healthcare operations, and sustainable operations management). My research studies aim to understand the role of consumer behavior on the value of operations and marketing strategies. I have one paper with minor revision from Production & Operations Management and one paper with major revision from Marketing Science. My supervisors are Tingliang Huang and Kenan Arifoglu. My other co-authors include Christopher Tang (UCLA), Georgia Perakis (MIT), Tolga Tezcan (LBS), Ying-Ju Chen (HKUST), and Esma Koca (Imperial College).

My teaching experiences cover a wide range of OM courses in top UK universities, including Project Management (LBS), Decision & Risk Analysis (UCL & LBS), and Operations Management (LSE).

I hold an MEng and BEng from Xi’an Jiaotong University. I have previously worked as a part-time TOEFL & GRE teacher in Xi’an New Oriental School, and also as a part-time editor for Guokr.com. I am a football enthusiast.
