Hande Yasargil

Hande Yaşargil is the managing partner of an international executive coaching business in Istanbul for the last fifteen years.

Hande originally trained as a psychologist and family therapist. Her ten years of human resources management experience in finance, automotive and media sectors, combine with her counselling skills to provide a unique foundation for her executive coaching practice.

Being an executive coach for the IGLC (Insead Global Leadership Center), Hande is a regular contributor to executive education programmes. She is also Leadership Development Practice Director for IDP (International Directors Program) at Insead Business School.

She is also an associate consultant/coach at KDVI (The Kets de Vries Institute ) in UK.

A leader in the HR and coaching professions, Hande served in Vice President and Board Member roles in PERYON (the Turkish Personnel Management Association) and also served in the Executive Committee of the European Associations of Personnel Management. She was also the Conference Committee Chair of The European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the founding President of EMCC Turkey.

Hande is known for a weekly column about leadership she wrote in one of Turkey’s leading newspapers, and for her many television and print interviews on business and leadership themes. She taught OB and a Leadership courses as a visiting faculty for Bilgi Univesity and Koc University EMBA Programs.

In 2012 Hande initiated a non-profit program called "The Cross Company Mentoring Programme for More Women on Boards," in cooperation with Forbes magazine and now she is the founding chair person of ‘Women on Board Association’.

Hande holds a B.A degree in Psychology and an M.A. degree in Human Resources Management. She is a graduate of INSEAD's Executive Masters Degree programme in Coaching and Consulting for Change. She also completed a certification programme at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government on "The Art and Practice of Leadership Development” and lately working on “Group Dynamics at Board Level” at Tavistock Institute.

She lives in London and Istanbul with her 9 year old daughter.
