Hamish Alexander

Hamish Alexander is a Senior Advisor for ANZSOG’s Custom Education Programs and partners closely with government clients in the design, development and delivery of a range of tailored executive education programs designed to build public sector policy and leadership capability. Hamish has extensive experience building public sector leadership capability across government while working in roles for the Australian Public Service Commission, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of Defence, and the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.

Hamish has facilitated leadership development programs and provided personalised coaching services for a range of mid-level and senior executives across both commonwealth and state public services. He is an accredited organisational coach, holds a Master of Business Leadership, and has a special interest in supporting leaders and leadership teams build the mindsets and skillsets to navigate complex challenges in a strategic and impactful way. Hamish draws on contemporary leadership development methodologies and adult learning principles to design and deliver innovative, practical, and dynamic education experiences that enable significant positive change in the way public administrators perform their roles and achieve organisational outcomes.
