Biography

Hamed Amini is an associate professor of Risk Management and Insurance in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. His current research interests are the quantitative risk management, systemic risk, financial regulation, complex networks, random structures, control of epidemics, game theory, economics of networks, statistics and machine learning. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from École Normale Supérieure and the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur” degree from École Polytechnique. Previously, he was an assistant professor of Mathematical Finance at the University of Miami and a post-doctoral researcher at the Swiss Finance Institute at EPFL. He serves on the editorial board of the Mathematical Finance.
