Biography
Guoqing studied Microbiology in Henan, China and received his PhD in Biochemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then undertook a number of postdoc positions involving research on host-microbe interactions before being appointed to a group leader in the University of Tuebingen in 2011. He was appointed to Senior Lecturer at University of Manchester in 2013.
