About me

I am interested in value and what ''Good'' means for an organisation. When we analyse data or design KPIs we ask what are we measuring and does it create what we perceive to be ''good''? Really understanding organisational goals helps us better define what good looks like in a given context. More money, more customers, better products and services tend to be the focus and we talk about value creation and capture. Value is itself a measurement – the measure of ''goodness''.

I currently welcome applications for self-funded PhDs or those with industry support.

Based in Strategy and Operations, I work across disciplines and have focussed on digital business, entertainment media, automotive and aerospace. Recent work has examined value and business models - how organisations function, can adapt, create positive experiences for customers and make money, and provide benefit for society. I like to apply academic theory in practice, testing ideas and learning from outcomes.
