Research Summary
Giuliano G. Castellano holds a Law Degree from Bocconi University (Milan), a PhD in ''Comparative Analysis of Law, Economics and Institutions'' (University of Turin, Italy), and a PhD in ''Economics and Social Sciences'' from the Ecole Polytechnique of Paris (Preg/CRG). He taught and conducted his research in different international institutions in Europe and in the USA. He collaborates in the policy-making activities of different international institutions.
His research interests stand in different areas of regulation. By adopting a comparative approach his research has focused on different aspects of financial markets regulation and risk regulation, in particular: financial markets'' institutional governance and the regulatory policies adopted to mitigate the impact of natural and man-made disasters.
