Gerry Gingrich

Dr. Gingrich serves as the Faculty Director of McCourt's Executive Master in Policy Leadership. A member of McCourt's adjunct faculty since 1994, Dr. Gingrich was a professor at the National Defense University for 25 years where she was a founding member of the College of Information and Cyberspace. In that role, she directed the Department of Defense's flagship executive program in leadership and information technology. Dr. Gingrich is an expert in strategic leadership and decision making, organizational innovation, and technological and behavioral change. She is a regular contributor to Federal Times with articles and blogs addressing leadership trends, organizational change, innovation in the workplace, and strategic technology issues. In 1990, Dr. Gingrich co-founded and led the first executive program in the country in the leadership and management of information systems at The George Washington University. Before entering academe, Dr. Gingrich was a Corporate Lending Officer for Bank of America and a Certified Public Accountant for KPMG. She holds executive degrees in foreign policy from MIT and in information systems from the University of Minnesota; an MS and PhD in organizational and cognitive psychology from the University of Maryland; and a BS in business and finance from the University of North Carolina.
