Geraldo Sardinha is a Specialist in Finance - INSEAD (France) and Kellog / Northwestern University (USA), and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais,UFMG. Sardinha is an Adjunct Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, in the area of finance, since 1978. Professor Sardinha teaches at the MBA programs, custom and open enrolment programs such as PGA – Advanced Management Program, STC – Skills, Tools and Competences (in partnership with J.L. Kellog Northwestern University USA) and PDE – Executive Development Program at FDC. He was a member of the team that designed and implemented the Corporate MBA at FDC, being in charge of the Corporate Finance syllabus, including distance learning. He was also responsible for the implementation of the Specialization Program in Corporate Finance at FDC, being its scientific coordinator for 12 years. Professor Sardinha also coordinated the implementation of the Competence Center for Corporate Finance at FDC. He is a visiting professor at Sauder School of Business – University of British Columbia, and visiting professor at INSEAD – The Business School for the World, France. Sardinha develops projects for large organizations, focusing on the implementation of valuation methodology, performance control and management for value creation, valuation for mergers, acquisitions and split-ups, business plans, company restructuring, debt renegotiating, and long term financial planning, besides coaching processes for C-suite executives. Speaker on Corporate Policies and Finance in international conferences and seminars. Professor Sardinha develops researches focusing on the interaction between corporate finance and corporate governance, the applicability of performance assessment methods, financial strategy in unstable economies, and result assessment in mergers & acquisitions processes. He is a member of the administration board of Group Kyly/SC; Group Raymundo da Fonte/PE; Dori Alimentos/SP; Hospital Mater Dei/MG; Grupo Transpess/MG; Supermercados Sales/MG.
