Lecturer in Business Administration George W. Logan teaches several electives in the Darden MBA program. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Instituto Centroamericano de Administración de Empresas (INCAE) in Alajuela, Costa Rica and Montefresco, Nicaragua. He is president of the Foundation for Management Education in Central America, located in Washington, D.C.
Logan is founder and board chair of Valley Financial Corporation (Valley Bank) in Roanoke, Virginia. He also serves as a director of three other Roanoke companies, AEW, Inc., RGC Resources and Roanoke Electric Steel Corporation. In addition, he is chairman of the managing board of the Alliance Logistics Center in Warsaw, Poland. Logan is also a member of several nonprofit boards, including the Marine Biological Laboratory, where he serves as vice chairman and George Washington''s Fredericksburg Foundation, where he serves as board chair.
