Gaetano Gaballo

Gaetano Gaballo is an Associate Professor in Macroeconomics at HEC Paris since July 2019 and a Research Affiliate at the CEPR since October 2017. Before, he was a Senior Economist in the Monetary Policy division at the Banque de France and a Research Affiliate at Paris School of Economics. From Sept. 2016 for one year he was an Economist in the Monetary Policy Research division at the European Central Bank, on leave from Banque de France. In 2009-2010 he was a Robert Solow post-doc fellow at Columbia University, and in 2010-2011 he was a Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Siena, Italy. His work has been published in top academic journals, including the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics and the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, among others.
