Biography
Francois Railliet, an Adjunct Lecturer of Human Resources Management (HRM) at HEC Paris, and HR Consultant, draws on extensive and diverse HR experiences, primarily with Esso/Exxon and then ExxonMobil, where he has held a wide range of positions including Country or Zone HR Manager for France, the UK, and Europe/Africa/Middle East, Global Business Line HR Manager, Global Executive Development Manager, and HR Project Manager for a grass-roots offshore Shared Services Center. He has worked in France, the UK, Belgium and the USA while holding international responsibilities.
He shares his knowledge and business/HR experience of Management and HRM in several Executive Education programs and seminars, as well as with international MBA and Specialized Masters students. He aims at assisting participants in their understanding of strategic Human Resource management and in their personal development as effective leaders.
In connection with these programs, he also acts as Project Faculty or Tutor, providing guidance to individuals and teams conducting International Consulting Missions, Business-related Projects or Academic Thesis as part of their curriculum. In particular, he has been Project Faculty of two groups of MBA students involved in joint HEC-Wharton projects in Africa (Global Consulting Practicum). Upon participants'' request, he provides individual coaching on recruitment and career objectives.
He also performs HR consultancy work, seminars and training programs at the request of particular business clients. His areas of intervention include: HRM and Business strategy, Talent Management, HR/people aspects of M&As, Organization & business process redesign, Change management, Project management, Teambuilding and leadership, design & implementation of shared services centers, European Labor Relations,
Francois is a member of ANDRH (Main French network of HR Directors and professionals - member of "Cercle Miromesnil", sub-group of large companies HR Directors), and EHRF (European HR Forum) a cross-European network of HR professionals. Until recently he was also a member of ISLAF - International Social Affairs Network, sponsored by CLC (Corporate Leadership Council), a European network dedicated to European Labor Relations topics.
He is an active member of a local not-for-profit organization, providing counseling and guidance in their job search to individuals remote from work.
