Biography

François Cocquemas is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar working with the Financial Markets Research Center at Vanderbilt, under the supervision of Professor Robert E. Whaley.   Prior to his PhD in Finance, François’s experience include work in equity research and consulting. He has published in professional journals such as the Journal of Portfolio Management and Bankers, Markets & Investors.

Teaching

At Vanderbilt, François teaches Derivatives Markets and International Financial Markets in the MBA and MSF programs. He previously taught Econometrics and Quantitative Methods at Sciences Po Paris.

Research Interests

Francois’s research interests include asset pricing and market microstructure. He focuses on applied topics related to options and other derivatives as well as ETFs.
