Francesco Brindisi  is the Associate Director for Economic Analysis, Forecasting, and Tax Policy at the NYC Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In this role, Dr. Brindisi oversees economic and tax forecasting, state and local tax policy, and economic analysis in a wide array of public policy areas. Previously, Dr. Brindisi was the Director of Policy Research at NYC OMB and Chief Economist at the NYC Economic Development Corporation. 

Dr. Brindisi has taught classes in urban economics, public economics and finance, local public finance, the economics of NYC, political economy, and macroeconomics. Dr. Brindisi holds a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University and a laurea summa cum laude from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata."
