My professional and academic interest has always focused on the convergence between the practical application of technology to the business world and its difficult coexistence with the legal world. I consider myself a hybrid, due to training and professional experience, between the two worlds and I am passionate about how dependent and, paradoxically, contrasting are the two areas in which I have mainly developed my professional career.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 19 years of professional experience developed, mainly, in international sales, information security and electronic commerce. I have held positions of responsibility in companies such as PayPal, where I was General Manager, TB-Security and Gastón y Daniela

• Founder of information security consulting company COVERSEC

• Since September 2009, consultant specialized in electronic commerce for companies in the rest, wine and footwear products sector.

• Research areas: Electronic commerce, information security, legal and economic aspects of the Internet, technological law, means of payment on the Internet.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

• 2000 – Present: Professor of Information Systems and Technologies and Director of the Chair of Risks in Information Systems at IE
