Evelyn collaborated with a small group of founding partners to launch SVP Chicago in 2012. Her search for a strategic way to make systemic social change led her to take the helm at SVP, where she drives SVP Chicago’s mission to build the capacity of innovative nonprofits and cultivate engaged philanthropists to deliver greater social impact.

Previously, Evelyn served in various senior leadership positions in the Midwestern Regional Office of Fannie Mae, including associate general counsel and director of single-family business, where she helped to establish and lead Fannie Mae’s business development initiative to better serve small- and mid-sized lending institutions. Evelyn started her legal career in the real estate practice at McDermott, Will & Emery.

She is the vice chair of the Local School Council of Alcott College Prep, a neighborhood preK-12 Chicago public school, and serves as co-chair of Alcott’s strategic planning steering committee.

Evelyn earned her BS in communications (with a concentration in political science) and JD degrees from Northwestern University. She lives in Chicago with her husband and daughter.
