Columbia Business School
Evan is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Management at Columbia Business School. After completing his B.S. at Cornell University, he pursued an interdisciplinary PhD in Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). His research revolves around the social and cognitive factors involved in how people form first impressions (along with concomitant nonverbal and physiological responses). Evan uses a multi-method approach, including techniques from psychophysics and psychophysiology. To date, his research has been featured in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and The Washington Post (among others).
