Evan Bruno

Biography

Evan Bruno is a Ph.D. candidate in the Leadership and Organizational Behavior department of the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on the effects of judgments of courage and cowardice in the workplace. Specifically, he examines what happens when organizational members label a behavior as either courageous or cowardly, and how their perspectives and other contextual factors affect whether they are (de)motivated by the label. More broadly, he is interested in exploring the impact of voice and silence, ethical judgments, managerial rhetoric and perspective in organizations.
