Biography

Dr. Eunhee Sohn joined the College of Business in 2015. Her research interests lie in the economics of innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the context of regional industry clusters and the university-industry interface. In particular, her work focuses on the role of institutions and incentives in shaping individual and organizational responses to external demand shocks. Her recent work investigates the spillover effect of local industry R&D upon the rate and direction of academic research, using the agricultural biotechnology revolution as an empirical context.

Dr. Sohn''s dissertation research has been nominated as a finalist for AoM TIM Division Best Student Paper Award, INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Competition and REER Best Student Paper Award.
