Etaine Smith brings over 30+ years of progressive management, human resources and inclusion experience within academic and corporate environments. Her experience includes managing staff operations, training and administration of operational policies and procedures, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) training and program leadership in both union and non-union environments.

She is viewed as an innovative and effective communicator and she is often called upon for expert advice on the interpretation and application of HR laws, policies and practices as well as DEI interventions. Etaine is currently a Sr. Human Resources Consultant in the Faculty of Arts of Sciences at Harvard University. She is a certified Mediator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is also certified as a Facilitator in Cultural Competence and Managing Unconscious Bias by the Cultural Intelligence Center. She is a valued and trusted colleague to the numerous leaders and managers that she supports and has specialized expertise in the Finance, Administration within Corporate and Academic Science divisions. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Master of Education degree from Cambridge College.
