Are perhaps the four best characteristics of Erik Goldsteen, both as a person and in his way of working.
Erik Goldsteen (1953) graduated in social and cultural work with specializations in sociology of labor and labor law and followed programs in strategic human resources management at the University of Michigan and business ethics at the University of Leuven. He has built a career over 30 years in general management, human resources management and integrity & compliance. Both at national and international level, in management roles and in expert positions.
He always laid the foundations for an integrated (human resources) approach that strengthened the strategic and commercial processes. He was involved in multiple business integrations and change management processes.
Organizational development and integrity & compliance are the common threads in the projects through which Erik helps employees and companies to realize their potential.
Since 1986, he has been a managing partner in Goldwood Consultancy BV, a small business consultant that focuses on coaching and mentoring small businesses, non-profit organizations and start-ups. This translates into advising and facilitating projects related to organizational culture and change, organizational design, business strategy, performance management, talent management processes and systems. He prefers a partner relationship with the customer, in which he functions as a sounding board, helps to define a desired approach and helps to realize it.
Erik has been teaching at the post-graduate degree of the ISBW in Strategic Human Resource Management since 2004 and is an instructor in the field of compliance, ethics and HRM. He is a member of several think tanks in the field of sustainable employability.
In his spare time, he is a supervisory director at a training institute and is closely involved in initiatives aimed at improving the living environment and sustainability.
