Mendoza College of Business

Erik’s research interests include accounting for income taxes, how managerial incentives affect firms’ tax strategies, and determinants of audit quality. Erik received bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and joined the PhD program at Texas A&M University in the fall of 2012 as part of the Accounting Doctoral Scholars program. Prior to pursuing his doctoral studies, Erik obtained his CPA license in Wisconsin, where he worked in PwC’s tax practice. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and three children, Benjamin, Charlie, and Katie.
