Biography

London College of Fashion

With a fascination for ghost towns, borders, no man’s land and their peripheries. Enver's artwork explores memories, both personal and assumed, along with the effect of dismantlement and displacement of culture.

Landscape painting is a prominent feature in Enver's catalogue, though he often straddles various art styles. He transitions fluidly between representational and abstract forms and from two dimensions to three.

Born in London, 1968 to Cypriot parents, he has a long, diverse and broad experience working within the arts. As a fledgling artist he was mentored for several years by the late Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, after which he went on to graduate from Camberwell College of Arts. He recently completed a major commission for BP Shipping, for which he created a number of artworks commemorating the company's centenary.

Enver is an associate lecturer at UAL's Chelsea College of Arts and CSM. He is a visiting lecturer at UCL and LCC.
