Work in progress: “Simon says”: Advice seeking and determinants of the decision to use advice are important to understand in order to form a theory of what drives men and women to speak up and how their ideas are spread. If advice is only sought from one group in society new ideas are unlikely to develop. Furthermore, the group that is not influential, from whom advice is neither sought nor used, might feel unwelcome or disconnected. Why speak up if your opinion doesn''t count?
In this project we examine gender differences in advice seeking and influence in the lab. (with Siri Isaksson)
“Gender Differences in Negotiation”: Developing new experimental design to test gender differences in negotiation, increase understanding and test interventions. (with Anna Dreber Almenberg, Karin Hederos Eriksson, Anna Sandberg)
