Research Summary
Emilie Courtin''s main research interests focus on mental health policy and practice, comparative social policy, long-term care and the methodology of comparative analysis. She has undertaken research on the regulation of health professionals in Europe, informal care and long-term care and is currently working towards her PhD. Her doctoral research looks at the social inclusion of mental health patients in France and England after the deinstitutionalisation.
