Biography

Previously taught at university and professional accounting institutions; worked as accountant for commercial companies, and as a financial and management consultant. Previous consultancies include accounting and auditing in public sector and charities; financial and management consulting solutions to small, medium and large corporate entities. Actively involved with ACCA and CIMA activities; currently participate in Continuous Professional Development in areas such as developments in Management Accounting; UK / Global Reporting and Auditing.

Research Interests

Global Financial Reporting and Auditing (regulation, harmonisation); Performance measurement: financial and non financial; impact of global accounting regulation and global corporate governance codes on entity performance.
