Ella is an educator, collaborator and activist in the fields of human rights and social innovation in Southern Africa. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town in South Africa; a freelancer with the Sex Worker Education and Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT); and a strategy partner with Muizenberg Festival, a community-based organisation based in Cape Town. She holds a MBA from the University of Cape Town and a LLM in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria and l’Université Gaston Berger. She is also involved in various literary projects written by and for African queer women.
