Darla Moore School of Business
Beth Walters is a lecturer in the Department of Management Science at the Moore School. She earned her M.S. in Statistics and B.S. in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina.
From 2010 to 2018, Walters gained valuable experience as an analyst at Chick-fil-A, Inc., in Atlanta, using analytics to inform decision-making at the company, restaurant and customer levels. In 2018, Walters launched and led the Community of Practicing Analysts at Chick-fil-A, Inc., a community of more than 100 analysts created to foster communication, collaboration, accountability and development among analysts throughout the organization.
Prior to her tenure at Chick-fil-A, Inc., Walters taught statistics and mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University, Maryland, for 13 years.
