Biography
Liz Tinkham is the Global Client Account Lead for Accenture’s Microsoft account. In this role, Liz is responsible for all aspects of Accenture’s work for and with Microsoft ranging from high-end strategy work to the award-winning One Finance business process outsourcing engagement. Accenture has a 20+ year history of working with Microsoft and has been a key part of their enterprise growth through the formation of Avanade in the early 2000’s. Liz’s current team is more than 2,500 people working in Redmond, Washington as well as India, Ireland and other parts of the world.
Prior to this role, Liz served as the Global Managing Director – Management Consulting for Accenture’s $6B+ Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) Operating Group. In this role, Liz drove $800M in sales and revenue across Accenture’s five core service lines – strategy, customer relationship management, supply chain, human performance, finance and performance management, as well three industry programs (communications, high tech and media and entertainment). Liz also worked as part of Accenture’s New Businesses group where she was responsible for identifying and launching new businesses globally within Accenture. Specifically, she launched a B2B global digital supply chain business as well as a data quality management business.
Liz graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. She also has an Executive MBA from IMD, the international business school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Liz is a member of both the Chicago Economic Club and the Executive’s Club of Chicago. She is also on the Women’s Board of the Chicago Adler Planetarium. Liz and her husband, John, live in Bellevue, Washington. She has three children Katie, Jack and Will. In her spare time, Liz enjoys hiking, skiing and pop culture.
