Wisconsin School of Business

Elizabeth Odders-White is the Kuechenmeister Bascom Associate Professor in Business in the Department of Finance, Investment, and Banking at the Wisconsin School of Business. She is also an affiliate of the UW-Madison Center for Financial Security.

Her current research agenda, for which she has received funding from both the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focuses on the development of financial capability in youth. She has presented her work at numerous conferences and universities, and her research has appeared in top academic journals, including the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Journal of Quantitative and Financial Analysis.

Odders-White holds a Ph.D. in finance from Northwestern University in addition to a BS in applied mathematics and a BFA in vocal performance from Tulane University.
