Darla Moore School of Business

Background

Breitbach earned her Ph.D. in Economics in 2013 from University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Her areas of specialization are economic education and public finance and her research focuses on economic education and financial literacy. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, in mathematics and business finance.

Breitbach has a passion for teaching and making economics applicable to students. She has participated in many conferences to improve her teaching including the American Economic Association Conference on Teaching Economics in 2012 and 2013 as well as the Continuing Education Workshop on Economic Education in 2012. She enjoys employing the methods and techniques she has learned in these forums.
