Eimear Nolan is Assistant Professor of International Business and Director of the Blended Learning MBA at Trinity Business School. She gained her PhD in International Management from the University of Limerick, and her Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from the University of Surrey, UK. Prior to joining Trinity Business School she held academic positions in the UK and the USA. Her research interests are in expatriate adjustment, cultural intelligence, recruitment and retention strategies, ethics, and the health care sector.

Eimear was awarded her PhD scholarship from Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Surrey, UK, where she completed her Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning. Eimear moved to the USA where she worked as an Assistant Professor at Kean University in New Jersey. While there, she was a developmental committee member for the Global MBA program, she served on the board of trustees in general education, and was an acting advisor of the global MBA graduate club. Following this Eimear accepted an Assistant Professor post at Monmouth University, New Jersey. She served on several committees including the global advisory council, faculty search committee, the undergraduate curriculum review committee, and actively engaged with the business council.

Eimear was also a partner on the Enactus- Tingug ng Mga Kababaihan livelihood project which is currently in regional finals in the USA. Eimear has managerial industry experience in the hospitality sector in both Ireland and Spain. Additionally, she volunteered back of house in the JBJ Soul Kitchen, Red Bank, New Jersey and was a volunteer job coach with the Employment and Empowerment team at the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in New Jersey, USA. Eimear was awarded several research grants and has presented at international conferences and published in academic journals, including the International Journal of Human Resource Management. Eimear has taught a variety of courses in traditional, hybrid and online format.
