Biography
Eileen Fischer joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Management and Organizations in January 2003.
Professor Fischer has more than 20 years of marketing, strategic planning and management experience. She began her career at Procter & Gamble in brand management. She then worked for Pharmaceutical firms in consumer medicine categories. As a senior executive, her various roles included Commercial Director of the French company, Vice President of Marketing for Europe and Global Strategy Director for Skin Care. Her responsibilities ranged from managing teams of more than 300 people to developing complex global business strategies.
Most recently, Professor Fischer was Chief Operating Officer of a software development firm. She led the firm of 130 employees through tremendous growth and executed a successful exit strategy. She currently consults for a number of clients including international firms.
