Edgar Low is a practitioner, an established thought leader, lecturer and trainer in the financial services industry and academia. He has more than 35 years of experience in managing banking, business consulting and lecturing. During his corporate career, he specialized in helping his banking clients to develop business and operational strategies as well as implemented major transformation changes. During his career, he led numerous regional banking consulting assignments, especially in strategy and transformation engagements.

He has hands-on experience in the banking industry, with vast practical experience in managing banking business, taking on many responsibilities in areas such as corporate lending, retail banking management, branch management, product and services development, risk management, systems development, information technology resources management, procedural improvements, and operational controls. Edgar held senior managerial positions during his career.

As teaching has always been one of his societal responsibilities, he started his career in academia at Singapore Management University as an adjunct lecturer. He teaches students pursuing master degree course. He is also a consultant at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University and an associate lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He is a principal training consultant Singapore FinTech Academy. He previously taught at a financial institution under the recommendation of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore. He was also an appointed lecturer of the Ministry of Education and taught at the Department of Business Administration, Polytechnics in Singapore for many years
