Biography
Ed Shardlow is a doctoral candidate in the management department at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on organizational behavior. As a former practicing litigator, his primary research interest lies at the intersection of law and behavior in the workplace. For example, one of his current projects examines stigma that attaches to employees who sue their employers to enforce legally mandated employment rights. Ed holds a BA in English and an MBA from Brigham Young University, and a JD from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. During his eight-year legal career, Ed specialized primarily in defending health care providers in medical malpractice lawsuits.
